Meh...I'll probably stick and be loyal to GW.

My friends are still stuck in FPSes apart from one of them, who's gone off to Sword of The New World.

But I may have a good look at Quake. It looks promising.

Skipping GW2 and going to WoW. ANET IMO failed with GW1, and I would rather not play GW2 if they do not even see where their mistakes were made.

Nowhere?

I know there's no point in a post like this but hell, I'm posting this just so show you that even if you think that the game is ruined because of an update or things like that, other people might not think that way.

I'll be sticking around for GW:EN for sure. I started focusing more on my latest character and i've been having fun again. I was bored with GW like 4 months ago but I took a few months off and now i'm refreshed.

Anyway other then that i'll be waiting for GW2. I'm sure i'll need another break before then so i'm saving up for a 360. The main reason I finaly decided to buy one is for a game called Mass Effect. I just can't pass it up.

Been rather busy with rl-stuff as always. I've been trying to motivate myself to log in when I have the time for it, but I'm not always succeeding.

Aww well.. have been playing GW since proph release, so it's become kinda boring.

I'll prolly try GW:EN and GW2.

I'm still ok with playing guild wars, but it's kind of gotten stale, plus my connection to their servers stinks for some reason. That's mostly why I don't play anymore really, sick of the lag and connecting all the way out to LA, first getting routed through chicago and dallas. There's no possible way I can cure that other than to move and switch ISP's. But, whatever, I have plenty of other games that do excellent still

CS Source
Enemy Territory
Civ 4

waiting for

quake wars

Other than that, I haven't done much looking around, been busy with work and other things. Got some interesting looking ideas from looking through this thread though .

Bolding is mine.

As much as WoW bores me I have to agree with that. Many times my BF and I were out just wondering around and ran into something more than twice our level and someone passing by would heal us so we did not die and then they would kill it so it would not kill us. They were also rather nice is showing us around rather than screaming "Noob!" everywhere like almost everyone on Guild Wars does. Why are the majority of Guild Wars players so rude and seemingly immature to pretty much everyone except their friends/guildies?

this is a theory submitted to me a while back....that the pay-to-play thing kinda weeds out some of the immature kids and just people who think pay to play is rediculous (basically generally rude people) so that may be one thing. in fact (i play as alliance) i was in hordie territory and a horde char was helpin me kill some higher lvl baddies due to my level at the time. it just kinda says a lot about the people on the game. anywhooo back to GW =D
i just think there are some people in GW who are hellbent on being asses.

edit: although come to think of it due to the ability to raid enemy territory and certain quest givers are set to active PvP and so whoever is raiding may kill that npc over and over again if they see that your trying to talk to em. but even that can be dealt with, with a raid upon them =D

Bioshock
Fable 2
Halo 3
Mass Effect
UT 2007
In the distant future...Ninja Gaiden 2 (all of the above for my Xbox 360)
Currently searching for a new PC based RPG (am playing Vampire: The Masacrade: Bloodlines)

Im working full time right now, but once college starts up and I quit work, I'll have lots of free time. Will probably buy GWEN just to see how it ends. GW2....I will wait for the reviews.

Guild Wars is still fun...you just have to play it the way Anet wants you to play it to get anything out of it. Theres not much left to do for those of us that dont feel like doing grind. (farming for money, grinding titles, lvl 5 characters worth of heros.) I still play AB and fort aspenwood, but the rewards are minimal, I just do it cause its fun. And quests just....arent that fun anymore....

My major beef with GW atm: AB is unbalanced and not as rewarding as other organized pvp.
Over 2 years into GW and smite monks are still drastically limited.
Guild Wars, the grind free game that onced advertised "Its based on skill, not hours played" (I still have some of the old magazine ads) has become just as grind-filled as the next MMO.
2 years later, the #1 non-subscription fee Online RPG STILL doesnt have an auction house....with no plans to ever add one.

Getting annoyed by not finding any good people to do the last few Hard Mode missions I need with...and thinking about strategies how to beat them with henchmen/Heroes is so boring.=I
I think I'll be taking a break once I get Legendary Guardian title, and start playing more once GW; Eye of the North comes out.

I'll be sticking around. Even if it's only skeleton-crew in nature. There is nothing as compelling as gw out there. Regardless of what has gone wrong, it holds more value than 90% of all the other online games flying around. The model is just so unique.

Well... I'll be around until Firefly Online turns up (if ever). Hearing some interesting things about that on the circuit...

I still play GvG - its the only thing that keeps me playing GW. I'm just biding my time til something like the pvp in GW comes out that isn't broken. Fury looks pretty good and Warhammer looks awesome - I just wish both were out sooner as there doesn't seem to be anything out there at the minute to fill the gap.

Its sad that Anet have messed up this game so badly. I guess the business model was the main fault (new expansions every six months stretched the community, brought in new professions and new skills that upset any hope of balancing the pvp). Maybe they have learnt from their mistakes for GW2 but as far as I can see, its not pvp friendly so I will probably stay away.

Anyway, been playing Wolf ET again - its old, it looks awful but its fun.

We just got one and it's awesome! We've mostly been playing the sports games that came with it and they are so much fun. Now that I have the guide (mostly to figure out how to move and stuff), I'm looking forward to starting Zelda.
